MiniMed Mio Advance Infusion Set

The MiniMed Mio Advance infusion set is Medtronic's newest infusion set. The MiniMed Mio Advance is a 90-degree infusion set that is pre-loaded, easy to hold, and there is only one button to press for insert. The infusion set has an all-in-one inserter design and hidden needle before, during and after use. MiniMed's Mio Advance set does not require as many insertion steps compared to other infusion sets in the market- so less to remember and less to do!

Medtronic Mio Advance Infusion Set Features:

  • Four steps to insert the infusion set.
  • One handed insertion (left or right hand).
  • All in one insertion design, no separate inserter necessary.
  • Hidden needle throughout insertion.

Easy peasy

I have just recently started using these infusion sets. I use them only in my arms because of the ease of use. One handed insertion is difficult with other infusion sets. The Mio comes with its own insertion device so all you have to do is pull off the paper that covers the sticky part and you're ready to go.
