I am a veteran and they send me test strips for a different meter and they suck and do not work half the time. I have an Accu-Chek Aviva meter that I had from a doctor before I joined VA and it always worked so I use this one instead of the one I got fromVA. It takes less blood to get readings so it is more convenient for me
