Both the Accu-Chek Guide and Accu-Chek Guide Me offer high accuracy and essential features for blood glucose monitoring. However, there are key differences to help you choose the right meter. The Accu-Chek Guide boasts a few extra features, such as a built-in bolus advisor for insulin dose calculation, a larger screen, and a target range indicator. It also offers Bluetooth connectivity, allowing seamless data syncing with your smartphone for convenient tracking and sharing with your healthcare provider. On the other hand, the Accu-Chek Guide Me, while missing those features, is generally more budget-friendly. If you prioritize the additional features and connectivity, the Accu-Chek Guide might be your ideal match. But if you're seeking a simple and cost-effective option, the Accu-Chek Guide Me could be the perfect fit.
Accu-Chek claims that their Guide platform, which includes the Accu-Chek Guide and Accu-Chek Guide Me meters, is their most accurate platform to date. Both meters meet the FDA's standards for accuracy. Still, the Accu-Chek Guide boasts a "10/10 accuracy" claim, meaning 95% of results fall within 10 mg/dL of a lab reference value for blood glucose levels below 100 mg/dL and within 10% for levels above 100 mg/dL. While the Accu-Chek Guide Me doesn't have this specific claim, it still offers high accuracy and reliable results.
If the meter displays an error message, consult the user manual for troubleshooting tips. Common solutions include checking the test strip placement, ensuring the meter and strips are within their expiration dates, or performing a meter reset.
Accu-Chek Guide test strips are specifically designed for use with the Accu-Chek Guide and Guide Me Meters. They may not be compatible with other Accu-Chek meters or glucose meters from different brands.
To change the battery, locate the battery compartment on the back of the meter. Open the compartment, remove the old battery, and insert a new one, making sure to align it correctly. Close the compartment securely. Check the user manual for specific battery types and instructions.
The Accu-Chek Guide Meter can be connected to the Accu-Chek Connect app, which allows you to track and analyze your blood glucose data over time. Download the app, follow the setup instructions, and sync your meter to view and manage your data.
The "10/10 accuracy" refers to the meter's high level of accuracy. It means 95% of the meter's results fall within 10 mg/dL of a lab reference value for blood glucose levels below 100 mg/dL, and within 10% for levels above 100 mg/dL.
The Accu-Chek Guide Meter can connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth. You can download the Accu-Chek Connect app, which allows you to track your blood glucose data, set reminders, and share your results with your healthcare provider.
love the backlit display and the strip eject
I was getting ready to go on vacation and needed a new glucometer as a backup to my Dexcom CGM and Omnipod **** pump. I I ordered it by next day air and arrived the day before I left for vacation. I have only used the glucometer once but nice to have a backup plan just in case of a sensor or **** pump failure due to being in the water in Florida.
Great job diabetic warehouse and thanks for getting the glucometer to me in a timely manner.
I’ve not used the meter yet but the test strips are a bit tricky to pull just one out of the container.
Your selling a glucose meter with no strips? Anyway to nickel and dime people!
My new Accu-Chek Guide Blood Glucose Meter is terrific! I bought the exact same one, for the second time. Eventually they lose calibration. I prefer to purchase a new unit every year. I only had one problem. I ordered the wrong pen. Accidentally ordering the Soft-Click Lancer, instead of my preferred Fast-Click Lancer. It's okay. I will keep it as back up.
