The FreeStyle Libre 2 System is a continuous glucose monitoring system that consists of a reader and a disposable sensor worn on the back side of the arm. This discreet sensor, which is about the thickness of two stacked quarters, is easily applied and stays on the body for up to 14 days.

Make sure to check your blood glucose levels by scanning the sensor, and it even works through clothing. The FreeStyle Libre 2 System is for adults and children of 4 years and older with diabetes.

If you encounter a full-body scanner, you can request an alternative screening method from the security officer.

Can you scan the Freestyle Libre 2 through clothes?

I wish I knew before

Just got my glucose level and the instructions are not clear that only one sensor should be placed at a time, so I ended up placing both sensors to realized after that I only needed one :(
On the instructions it doesn’t specify clearly that one or two sensors should be placed but it illustrates both arms. (I’m pretty sad I lost the chance to use both sensors and the cost for them is high also).
This is my first using them so it was a bit confusing. I’ll see how the rest works the app seems to lack an info section for people to go back and check instructions or the how tos. I’ll see how it goes with the glucose readings, I haven’t gotten that far yet.
