Finally something that really works!

I had been using the "overpatches" that come with the G7 with little or no luck. I teach scuba diving in the VI and am in the ocean a lot. Sometimes I would get only 2 days before the sensor fell off. THis along with Skintack seem to have done the trick. Thank you!

This technology has absolutely changed my ability to track/monitor my glucose levels. No more finger pricks! I am so happy that I tried the continuous monitor...it really makes a difference.

Bottom line - they work, they are easy to put on, they stay on and they are fairly easy to take off. As a new Dexcom G7 user , I researched and listened to users on Youtube. Most of them said that the adhesive that comes with the Dexcom is insufficient, doesn't stay on and yet Dexcom will tell you that they don't advise you use anything else. I wanted a positive outcome from the get go. I didn't want to struggle with it staying on when I was learning how to use the device and needed to be focused on that. I listened to the CGM users and took their advice and am glad I did. I would recommend getting the samples from the company ; they send 2 samples and if they work and you don't have any poor reactions from them, then plan on using them long term.

I had to cut the middle round part out to leave the sensor exposed which took some time so I didn't ruin the outer patch. Other than that it works good so far.
