I have used 2 different national name brands in the past. The Gluco-Pro Chocolate is my new favorite. It mixes as well as the others, (which I wish all of them mixed easier), it has a good taste, less calories and a lot less carbohydrates according to the label.
The calories and carbs are important factors for my needs as my blood protein levels are on the low side of normal and my doctor has me using 90 to 120 mg of supplemental protein daily just to maintain.
The price is very comparable to the others I have used. I'm a tightwad and always shop for the best price per ounce and serving of protein I can find.
